Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

So who's the rainbow in your life?
Do you have one?

I saw her again today.
I thought she glanced at me and smile.
I smiled back.
I hope she saw.

  1. waiting for me rainbow to appear....

maybe too long din rain in my world liao, so no rainbow come....

  4. Hi Dr Og, i really like the rainbow poem in your blog, can i post that in my blog too? Cuz i have a page called "Nice thoughts" where i go around collecting nice literatures... i will leave a credit to your blog.

I would appreciate if you let me know the author of that poem (or is you? Talented arh)

  5. Anonymous12:12 PM

man, am I that old that the Over the rainbow song from Wizard of Oz has been forgotten?

Hmm interesting. Dr BL Og you might want to write an entry on how to impress girls using VERY OLD song lyrics and poems and pass it off as your own.

It has worked with loveris comments!

  8. docphobic12:36 PM

    my rainbows come and go

they keep changing as i grow

some are visible some not so

    nevertheless...i love them all

for they have kept me safe

    in this otherwise lonely world

  9. thanks Dr oz bloke.. i've got all the info i wanted.. sorry, i havent watch Wizard of Oz on screen before. I only read the book.

  10. docphobic12:44 PM

    wa...i din know i can rhyme..my first poem...ever!

u've inspired me dr og :)

    keep writing...

  11. dr blog always blog nonsense. i never tried passing the song off as mine. assumed everyone knew this classic.

but mebbe like dr oz bloke, i am also tat old.

  12. Anonymous2:08 PM

sorry to intrude into this discussion of 'being old'. Anyone knows what are the muppets? someone told me there was a skinny green frog as well..

  13. dun worry, dr, you are not that old. at least you are not blogging about Zhou Xuan's music. the last time i mentioned her music, the 30+, 40+ uncles looked at me blankly. walau, was dem paiseh... coz am only in late 20s!!!

my rainbow's gone already. he put me thru too much rain. so now i only wan the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. :)

  14. Anonymous4:14 PM

be brave dr,you are a man what.
man should have no reserves about going after a girl he likes. unlike a girl who has too much social stigma.

of course, unless the girl is your patient.

is this girl in your hospital?

  15. sexy med student4:26 PM

Kanasai. Write better entries can. Don't like all this sentimental shit. Eh, gahmen impose stricter rules abt blogging issit? Sian lar. stupid gahmen.

  16. docphobic4:46 PM

    sexy med student...if don't like-don't read

dr og or anyone for that matter can blog watever they want (within gahmen limit, of cos)...a little variety is refreshing

sentimental is good wat...unlike rockson who takes f**king so lightly...lost respect man

  17. Dr Oz bloke@12:25

You assume and you insult. Thought your previous comments were usually insightful and intelligent.
Which part of the entry did I mention that I wrote that?
Did you not notice the different fonts used?

To write an entry here to impress girls? To pass off something as my own?
    Go PR yourself.

  18. PR as in go take your pulse rate.

I don’t mean to be rude too.

  19. docphobic7:10 PM

hmmm...i think there is a misunderstanding somewhere.

all docs pls reread all entries before concluding

what i understood from dr oz bloke@12:25 posting is that he merely suggested to dr bl og to 'write an "entry" on how to impress girls using VERY OLD song lyrics and poems and pass it off as your own'...u know...write something that poke fun at the situation/blunder.

    quite funny wat...

don't think dr oz bloke meant to insult

to me...the oni one who might b insulted is loveris cos she was the silly 'young' girl who blur blur think dr bl og was writing poems when he was actually...errr....singing(??)almost kena con...but i know she is too sweet to be offended by that :)

    peace :)
